His latest hit film Timepass released on January 3, 2014. Subodh Bhave, who played the title role of Balgandharva, won the Screen award for Best Actor in 2011. The film won three National Awards at the 59th National Film Awards. Jadhav also has, to his credit, Balgandharva, a biographical Marathi film on one of the popular Marathi singers and stage actors Balgandharva. The film, starring Atul Kulkarni and Sonalee Kulkarni, was based on the emotions related to gender bias and the sacrifices of an artiste for the love of his art.
